The lab aims to develop novel manufacturing techniques for fabricating functional surfaces with good surface finish and high form accuracy efficiently and sustainably to satisfy the special needs of key component manufacturing for high-end equipment in particle acceleration, nuclear engineering, mold and die, communications, automobiles, and aerospace industries.
